for international students in Southampton and Winchester

iExplore

Please note that this week there is no iExplore (on Wed 14th February); but that those who go to iExplore are welcome to the International meal at 6pm at Highfield Church Centre, and then to join the Relevant?  event run by Southampton University Christian Union at Highfield Church at 7.30pm.

iExplore gives international students and visiting academics an opportunity to explore the basics of Christianity and runs each term on Wednesday evenings close to the main university campus, at Highfield Church Centre, Highfield Lane, Southampton, SO17 1RL, 7.30pm to 9.30pm. The evening starts with a free meal, followed by a short talk about the bible or film showing part of the bible and the chance for questions and discussion in small groups.

The course this term starts again on Wednesday 3 January 2018, and runs to Wednesday 14 March, with an extra session on Wednesday 21 March to visit  “Experience Easter” – an interactive telling of the Easter story.  The course is open to international students of any faith or none, and students are welcome to join at any time, even if they missed the first few sessions – no booking is required. For more information about the course, see the website: www.iexplored.info
