New Forest Walk with Afternoon Tea, from 1pm, returning at approximately 6pmPlease meet at 1pm at the small car park by building 32 (electronics and computer science) – on Univeristy Road, opposite the junction with Salisbury Road. We will be driving out to the New Forest in a couple of cars, and will go and visit the deer sanctuary at Boldrewood, before going over for Afternoon Tea at Acres Down Farm, in the middle of the New Forest. The cost of the cream tea (includes a pot of tea or coffee, with cake, and scones with jam and cream) is £5. (please bring money on the day – correct change would be helpful).
Please ensure you are wearing suitable shoes (trainers or flat shoes – no high heels!) and if the weather is looking damp, you may want to bring a raincoat; if it is looking sunny, a hat and sun lotion!
