Your chance to visit a local home, and to join us for an informal evening of tea/coffee and chatting. We are invited to the home of Professor Ian Castro and his wife Lucy, who live near to the main Highfield campus – about 2 minutes walk from University Road/Burgess Road. We look forward to welcoming new and returning students and scholars. Our topic for this evening is Easter, and we will have a short talk from John Ayrton, entitled “What’s the meaning of Easter” covering how and why Easter is celebrated in the UK. We will also have some special Easter food as part of the evening, including hot cross buns.
