Join us on the 15th April as we go to visit Highclere Castle. Highclere Castle has been home to the Carnarvon family since 1679. In more recent history, Highclere Castle has become the location of Downton Abbey, the TV drama and recent film.
We will spend time exploring the house and gardens. Then, depending on the weather we will either have a picnic at Highclere Castle or go to a local garden centre cafe for lunch.
Student tickets cost £15.50 per person, adult tickets cost £17 per person. Please book these via Eventbrite.
We will provide car travel to Highclere Castle.
We will collect students travelling from Southampton at 9:30am from car park next to Building 32 (EEE building).
If you are coming from Winchester, please meet at Winchester Tesco Store, Easton Lane, SO23 7RS by 9:45am (from Easton Lane, please walk past the ARC car wash and tesco petrol station, towards the Tesco store, and you will see the bus stop near the Bicycle storage area).
We plan to arrive back in Winchester and Southampton around 4pm.
