for international students in Southampton and Winchester

Visit to Oxford

Update:  Please note that due to low numbers booking we will now be travelling to Oxford by car. If you would like to join the group, please contact Susan Caddy.

The cost for the trip is £15 to cover transport and the Bodleian Library talk and visit.

Tour of Oxford
After arriving in Oxford, we will make a brief visit to the Ashmolean Museum and then take a leisurely guided walk through the city centre, pausing to stop at some of the most well-known and iconic buildings, with time to take photos.  As part of the guided walk we will visit the 15th Century Divinity School in the Bodleian Library – this splendid medieval room is the oldest teaching hall and earliest examination hall of the University.

Free Time
There will then be free time, for exploring the city, from approximately 1pm through till 4.15pm, when we will meet outside the Ashmolean Museum for our return journey.
