Trip to “Word Alive” in Wales from Sat 7 – Thur 12 April 2018 (for those attending iExplore).
Word Alive is a 6 day long Christian conference and holiday in the Easter vacation of each year.
Each year. we organise for a group of students from the iExplore course travel together to North Wales to attend the Word Alive conference.
It’s a time to enjoy teaching, fellowship and worship together and is for people of every age. It’s held on a holiday site on the north Wales coast in a town called Prestatyn, and this year about 9000 people will go over 2 weeks – the conference is repeated with minor changes. There is a dedicated international student track which we attend in the afternoon and last year there were over 180 international students from 30 different countries. But the fact that there is a dedicated track doesn’t stop you enjoying the other activities each morning and evening, including the beach!
