At present Friends International do not run any events for international students based in Winchester; however, international students are warmly invited to events run at Winchester University:

Bible Studies

There are Bible studies for those who want to find out about the Bible and Christianity. These run every Tuesday night in term time, at 7.30pm, either in the Chapel or Herbet Jarman room 20:

Tuesday 16 March, in the Chapel - The miracle of Jesus, who is Jesus?
Tuesday 23 March, in Herbet Jarman Room 20 - His trial and crucifixion
Tuesday 27 April, in the Chapel - His resurrection



Social Events

The socials are an opportunity to have fun, chat and learng about Christianity. Previous socials have included film nights, games nights and a Christmas Party. All the socials are in the Chapel and start at 7.30pm. All international students are welcome.

Wednesday 24 March - Easter Party, with a short talk on why Christians celebrate Easter
Wednesday 28 April - theme to be confirmed

God Spot

All international students are welcome to come along to the cafe, "God Spot". It is once a fortnight (not during the holidays) and it is an opportunity to chat and make friends and to find out about Christianity by listening to a short talk or by asking questions. Free drinks are provided. God spot is in the Chapel and is on Thursday lunchtimes from 12.30-1.30pm
